Before we saw this logo, we weren’t really sure where to CONNECT with our freaky dog-octopus, half-a-cat, bottomless fish, human-horse, or whatever that thing in the middle (that kind of looks like a butt) is. Now we know that when we need to connect with the heart and soul of our mutant pets, we should definitely give Angie a call.

Alta Bluff is the perfect animal hospital to go to when you love your cat so much, you want it implanted on the back of your head.

Unfortunately, they don’t appear to do rhinoplasty.

A good logo subtly communicates important info about a company. For instance, Mesa County Animal Shelter’s logo informs us that the MCAS is not a good place to browse for seeing eye dogs.

This is a pretty dramatic Christmasification. But I would take any opportunity to remove a visual metaphor for horse crap from my logo, too.

If this logo is to be believed, NEACHA will make your dog unpleasantly fat, but DAMN! Your dog will be able to read!

Like the incredibly elegant and descriptive logo of LCAR.

Logan County Animal Rescue…so that’s where that is.

Moments after this logo was drawn that dove was cremated.

There’s an association for this? Don’t they know the “buy a dog that looks like the old dog” trick?

Barrel of monkey letters, unnecessary quotes, drop shadows, unnecessary italics, awkward use of photos, beveling, inclusion of the business form (INC). This logo’s got it all. Except for, you know, visual appeal.

Would you believe the website this came from also had pet photos with animated angel wings? You should.

NO HEAVEN FOR YOU. Also: dove fight.

HTML needs a “groan” tag with appropriate styling.

Heaven’s Pets don’t waste time jumping. Motherfuckers hunt doves with their ANGEL WINGS.

I know Susie wasn’t your favorite child, John, but geez. Sending her to the pet crematorium seems a little harsh.

Well, we know the business will involve dead pets. Beyond that…*shrug*. Keep it generic, please. Same with the tagline.

Can you make the circle part of the P a multi-colored paw and also inexplicably surround “ngel’s” with it? You can? Great. You’re hired.

Even though he has magic angel powers now, that poor little dog still looks afraid of the name of the business.

Turkey Creek Alpaca and Dinosaur Farm

To be fair, I’m not sure if there is a logo involving alpacas that doesn’t make us laugh. Say alpaca several times in your head and try not to giggle. We’ll wait.

The creek more closely resembles some sort of unfortunately imagined dinosaur, and while not a terribly easy animal to abstract in one-color, there are some weird things going on with that poor alpaca. Also, you know, the “typography”.
