How many of you have had to deal with a client who had a complete train wreck of a logo but you knew you could never ever talk them into redesigning it because they seem to have some strange attraction or bond to it that utterly defied reason?
*Thousands of hands raise in unison.*
We call this Logo Love – an all too common problem created when people fall madly in love with their logos. Some of the warning signs to help you recognize if your client has this are:
1) Your client becomes defensive, upset, or mad when approached about redesigning their logo.
2) Your client begins to cry when you tell them what you honestly think of their logo.
3) Your client has attempted to put their logo on to a birthday cake (see example):
