Do you remember Pegaweb?

We featured this double rainbow logo at the beginning of November. This week, Barfer Amanda left us a gift in the form of a comment on that post. Why she was poking around the Pegawebsite I can’t imagine, but it was to everyone’s benefit.
Next time you’re feeling stuck on your company’s logo design, just turn to Pegaweb’s fantastic post: Doing Your Own Company Logo Design.
It’s posts like that which keep YLMMB in business.

Oooooh it’s about time for another Goatse Homage, don’t you think? Thanks to the anonymous Barfer who sent FTA’s logo our way.

This poor clip art man is not being treated with an ounce of dignity. Somebody empower him!

Thanks to an anonymous barfer for this bizarre find.

Barfer Eric (and a few Twitter followers) made sure that we saw the new Big Ten logo, released today.

It seems like rebrands are as likely to go wrong as they are to go right. What do y’all think about the Big Ten redesign?

Thanks to Barfer Dave for sending in today’s logo, about which he says:
Here is a logo from a local meat processor. They have have great hotdogs (seriously), but appear to use the old “subliminal brassiere” motif to sell their wares.

Oof.

The J is telling us it’s 7 o’clock. Or that it’s time to hire an actual graphic designer.
Any takers on the conversation that led up to this monstrosity’s creation?

This logo came like this. We didn’t fuck it up. Actually, it copied over at 800 pixels wide – this is sized at 400 – so you can imaging the artifacts I saw there.

“O’Hare Inn…& Suites: Have a super-duper day!”
Thanks to Barfer Igor for this find. We hope you don’t get bedbugs from this place.
